Andromeda Hill is situated on the cliff overlooking the sea, offering a spectacular view of the port. The neighborhood is an exclusive residential area on Louis Pasteur and Yefet streets, with access from Yefet Street. Nearby are the Church of St. George, a 19th-century Jewish synagogue, and an ancient Jewish cemetery. To the north lies Old Jaffa, and to the south is the Ajami neighborhood.
The project is named after the Andromeda Rock and the mythological Andromeda. The architectural style that characterizes the project is a style that was fashionable in the early 1990s called “Tuscan style,” and it was the first time in Israel that an entire apartment complex was built in this style.
Over the years, there has also been a change in the composition of the population that settled there. Initially, there was a homogeneous population, elderly and Jewish, but today there are also young people and families living there, including diplomats, Arabs, and Christians. The connection between the different populations has created a unique partnership.
In recent years, the neighborhoods of Jaffa have benefited from significant investment in development and preservation processes by the Tel Aviv municipality. This is expressed in renovations, improved infrastructure and roads, growth in schools, parks, restaurants, and additional services. All this is done while maintaining the meticulous architecture of the place and the unique atmosphere that exists in Jaffa.
Finding properties for sale within the project is very difficult due to the fact that the neighborhood residents feel like a family in the small, gated community. However, there is a variety of properties available in the surrounding streets at a range of prices. Prices range from 45,000 shekels per square meter to 100,000 shekels per square meter.
Today, there are various construction projects in the area at a variety of prices and finishing levels, allowing for a quality lifestyle within walking distance of the sea at prices that are comfortable compared to those on the streets closer to the sea in Tel Aviv.
